27th December 2019

The Polo Beach Club - Accra

Our Story

The Beach Polo Cup and tournament is a unique purpose-built event that was created by two members of the Accra Polo Club, Kwaw Blay and Loïc Devos. The two are avid polo players who, after experiencing the tournaments in Dubai, decided it was high time these events were introduced to Accra.

Conveniently, the duo have prior expertise in organising a number of social and polo associated events and tournaments, and so naturally joined forces to bring a competative Beach Polo Cup to Accra, Ghana via their respective companies Press XPress Logistics and Buda Event.

“With the backdrop of Accra’s Labadi Beach Hotel and the electric energy of Accra during Christmas, we feel a Polo Cup on the beach would be nothing short of fantastic”

- Kwaw Blay
